What has happened to Michael Waltrip? What is it now, 7-8 races he has failed to qualify for?

Unfortunately, Micheal Waltrip took on too much at once. Owner/Driver is a hard thing to do and he has to watch over 3 cars, not just one. He also picked a bad year to start his team. They should have waited until the COT was fully put into play before going to Toyota cars. All other brands have years of experience behind them, Toyota is trying to learn 2 cars at once and get their program in order, no wonder they can’t do anything. Go back and look at their start in the truck series, didn’t take them near as long to get things together there. Yet another reason NASCAR needs to go to the COT next year, stop all this switching back and forth with the cars. Every team is struggling because of this…except for Hendrick of course. On top of all that, NASCAR needs to go to a strictly time-based qualifying. Stop all this provisional crap and let everybody have a chance to make races. There are teams we don’t even know about that try to qualify each week. Something like 50 teams a week that try to qualify for a 43 car field and most of them don’t make it because somebody has used a provisional to guarantee themselves a spot in the race. Past time to make it fair for everybody.

Been to Nascar.com lately?
At the bottom of the page it has a question of whether suspended crew chiefs should be allowed to communicate with their teams and it has a picture of Steve Letarte next to the question. I swear every single pole NASCAR.com presents on their website I can almost guess what answer is most popular and by what percentage. Well I wasn’t wrong today and I would love to go back in time and have them put a picture of Tony Eury Jr and see what the results would have been. as it stands the percentage is Yes 28% and No 72%. What do you think the results would have been had the picture not been a Hendrick crew chief?

Bescause there are a lot of jeff gordon haters out there and I am guessing a lot of them saw the picture and voted differlenly!!! So without atleast 55%N to 45%Y just guessing. I voted yes by the way!! Well if they do put a picture of tony eury jr. on the same poll the results i guess are going to be tottaly differnt!!!!
I hate when nascar.com puts certain photos on there polls!!!
