NASCAR is Here!

Nascar is marketing, marketing, marketing. This makes money, money, money. NASCAR is a waste of gas: I guess driving and watching T.V are a waste of gas too. Let’s stop doing both. NASCAR is America as we really are. In its own way, it’s beautiful.

NASCAR is recognized as a major power in marketing. It will be interesting to watch fan reaction to the A-B brands with all of the changes. NASCAR is in the early stages of developing the process for selecting inductees for the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Having done extensive research on the processes utilized by other halls of fame, NASCAR is committed to providing a process that has the utmost integrity. NASCAR is essentially “pure uninhibited capitalism” (Hagstrom 1998: 17). A Sports Illustrated columnist believes that in NASCAR lies America’s “central postmodern metaphor: racing even faster in circles chasing a buck” (MacGregor 2002: para.

NASCAR is a way of life; it has depth and complexity. There are few casual NASCAR fans?if you?re not all in, you?re out. NASCAR is not committing to having one of the Big Daddys of races. All the big bucks come in from the Big Thumpers, not the minor leagues. NASCAR is truly a sport that is enjoyed today by many individuals nationwide. The actual concept of NASCAR began with what were called “bootleggers” smuggling whiskey at rapid speeds during the night.

Nascar is a sport much supportive of the Bush Administation. Apparently, Nascar has learned much about slaps on the wrist from Bush. NASCAR is one of the largest racing organizations in the USA. With millions of fans around the country, and some of the most expensive race cars and teams put together you can see how NASCAR and betting go together like peas in a pod. NASCAR is going to announce very soon that beginning at the 2010 Daytona 500 to be held on February 30th all race cars in the Sprint Cup Series will have turbo charged V-6 engines.

NASCAR is needlessly sucking up gas in an event where racers get paid millions to drive in an oval and help destroy the atmosphere. Supporters may say that the amount of fuel used by NASCAR isn?t significant, but it still adds to America?s need for fuel. NASCAR is a national sport. It just makes all the sense in the world.? NASCAR is truly an American sport and we want our sport to look like America. We continue to create opportunities for everyone to be a part of the NASCAR community.”.

NASCAR is doing, has been doing, and will be doing fine without ‘diversity’ trying to be rammed down our throats by pandering liberals. Diversity = feel good politics. NASCAR is an American sport with a worldwide following and as such we believe diversity is part of what makes our country great. Based on this conviction, NASCAR is committed to promoting diversity within its organization and throughout the motorsports industry. Nascar is much the same, I know of a lot of people who wreck going slower then 90, they wouldn’t stand a chance at around 200. In reality being a great driver is almost something you have to be born with, there are many people who could have years and years of experience but are still horrible drivers.

NASCAR is boring, the cars are cookie cutter boring and the technology is outdated. If they were such supreme cars, they wouldn’t need to race on banked tracks just to keep from sliding into the wall. Nascar is a sport rife with conspiracy theories, and most wouldn’t put it past the France family to order up a fake fight just before the Daytona 500, the “Super Bowl of motor sports”, to prove to the rank and file that old-style racin’ is back. NASCAR is also developing a roof exit system that could assist drivers if the car comes to rest on its side.

NASCAR is becoming a corporate sport, with corporate prices. NASCAR is now in the business of reading drivers’ minds? That’s the only way they can judge intention, which is what they said Dale Earnhardt Jr. NASCAR is the #1 spectator sport - holding 17 of the top 20 attended sporting events in the U.S. More than 75 million brand-loyal NASCAR followers purchase an estimated $2 billion worth of licensed products annually.

NASCAR is little more than a staged Hollywood show to entertain. There is very little real racing going on, except maybe for the likes of Tony Stewart, who is one of the very few “real” racers in NASCAR.

CART has spent the remaining time going quietly out of business. Bad management decisions, defections be damned - CART’s entire season boasted the viewership of 1 month in Indianapoilis in May. Cars are still competing to get to that top spot. In addition, pit crews strategize their stop to give their car the best advantage in a timely matter.

Race cars recently have been redesigned for safety, and a new tire was created specifically for Sunday’s race. The tires were made with a harder material so they would not wear down, but that made handling difficult, said Ed Clark, president of Atlanta Motor Speedway. Racers in NASCAR earn points for their finishing place. Obviously, the winner gets the most points, with each subsequent finisher earning a progressively lower amount of points. Race observers will be asking not just “How many grams per mile of CO2 does this car generate?”.but also “Who will win this stage of the race? Do you think the team from Korea can fix their broken car in time?

Race day is a big event at the Houghtaling home. They will often invite fellow NASCAR fans and friends over to watch races on their 60-inch TV screen.

Speed is critical to the pit changing crews at the Daytona 500. Competitive pressures have dropped four-tire-change pit stops from 17 seconds to 14 seconds in the last five years. SPEED Channel is great, don’t get me wrong, but SPEED Channel to my knowledge is only available to satellite customers and digital cable customers. Well believe it or not, some of us still use basic cable, meaning that we don’t see any of the NASCAR programming shown on SPEED Channel.

Sports is appointment programming. It’s a ridiculous notion that true fans would head online instead of watching the race on TV. Sports had a useful place many years ago. A team actually represented a city/state/metro area.

Fans can now buy wine in the grandstands, and this year tracks are offering special wine programs — tastings at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, an exclusive lounge at Phoenix International Raceway where anywhere from $1,900 to $4,000 gets you a great view, gourmet foods, and, of course, wine. The NASCAR-tied vintages of Bennett Lane, named after the vineyard owned by Randy Lynch, a former racer with a NASCAR team who was the first to put grapes on a car, have even received 90+ scores from the prestigious magazine Wine Spectator . Fans were invited to explain in 50 words or less why they want to propose — renewing vows also qualifies — in a contest sponsored by Harlequin, a publisher of romance novels, and Office Depot. The winner, who has not been selected, will win a prize package worth $10,000, and the proposal will be written on the back of Carl Edwards’ Ford Fusion.

Toyota is already increasing its market share and could move past GM as the No. Toyota executives are giddy.

Sponsors show the value they receive from racing by tossing more and more money at the teams. With Daimler-Chrysler jumping into the NASCAR fray to go head to head with GM and Ford, direct sponsorship dollars might not increase but research and development budgets within those corporations are sure to inflate. Sponsors can change and you always have to be chasing new ones. They control all aspects of the team.

With 100 laps to go, his power steering gave up the ghost, but the No. Without being able to use his date at wilkesboro, Bahre reluctantly took it to nhis, but he’d rather have used it at wilkesboro. Without them, France would have never survived.

With few options beyond the farm or factory, the best chance of escape was running moonshine. Bootlegging offered speed, adventure and wads of cash - if they survived.

Watch as Korean tradition collides with b-boying! For more info please visit http://www.planetbboy.com. Watch the 200mph plus hoonage in the early/mid seventies of Bobby and Richard et al. When the cars would spin around the spoilers would lift the cars about 8 feet off the ground and they would start flipping sideways in the air, throwing parts, bodies, fuel, etc.

Gasoline is about 20 percent more efficient than ethanol. If ethanol is 20 percent cheaper than gasoline, ethanol makes both econimic and environmental sense. Game 1 of the 2006 WS got a rating of 8.0. That’s 42.7 for the 2007 Super Bowl versus 8.0 for the first game of the 2006 World Series versus 4.7 for the NASCAR season so far in 2007.
